Stakeout on Dope Street

Enjoyed the 1958 crime drama STAKEOUT ON DOPE STREET.
It's a story about 3 youths who find two pounds of pure heroin and decide to go into the distribution business themselves. Never a thought of how the original criminal owners of the product might look upon their efforts.
Knowing nothing about distributing their product, they enlist the help of an addict (played very well by Allen Kramer). Kramer does a superb job of describing the agony of going cold turkey--which he has done three times.
Overall a more enjoyable film than you might imagine.
