Jassy (1947)
If there is such a thing as a chick-flick noir, the 1947 British entry JASSY is it--and in technicolor (at least the copy I viewed).
Keaney gives it a 2.0 and for me, that's a tad high.
If you are looking for a gritty, smoke-filled noir, this isn't it.
Just to give you an idea of the setting, Margaret Lockwood is a gypsy girl who is hired as a servant in an aristocratic 19th century household.
I'm not going to say stay away, but I wouldn't go to any extra effort to get a copy of this.
