Really enjoyed the very atmospheric 1954 noir, WORLD FOR RANSOM. The cast is loaded with many of our favorites: Dan Duryea, Gene Lockhard, Patric Knowled, Reginald Denny, Nigel Bruce, Arthur Shields, Douglass Dumbrille, and even Keye Luke.
Takes place in Singapore and either they were actually there (or some place equally humid) or someone on the set did an excellent job with the water spray.
You couldn't make this film in color, would lose too much of its underbelly.
Definitely recommend this one.
