HOUSE OF DARKNESS is a 1948 Brit noir starring a young Lawrence Harvey, Lesley Brook, John Stuart, George Melachrino, Grace Arnold and Pauline Winter.

In this psychological thriller and noir, greedy Harvey covets his stepbrother's home. He knows that his stepbrother has a heart condition but is impatient in terms of waiting for his natural demise and so sets off a fatal attack by smashing a beloved violin. He then throws his wife and his other step-brother out of the house. But as the people around him exit, new sounds appear. Can he reqroup?

Keaney gave it a 2.5 and it's a 5.4 on IMDb (agree more with Keaney on this one).
