The 1954 noir BAIT stars Hugo Haas, John Agar and Cleo Moore.
Keaney gives it a 1.5 and I certainly wouldn't go higher than that. It's got a 6.0 on IMDb, which is higher than I would give it.
Haas has gold fever and he's been at it for years. He convinces young Agar to join up with him on his latest venture. Cleo Moore is Haas' love interest--and Agar's too--in a very small cabin.
This film will NEVER be confused with Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
I would not bother hunting this one down.
