Laughter in Paradise Empty Laughter in Paradise

Thanks again to Gary for his mention of the 1951 comedy LAUGHTER IN PARADISE (see THE BROTHERS thread).

The film stars Alastair Sim, Fay Compton, Guy Middleton and George Cole.  (Audrey Hepburn has a small spot as a cigarette girl).

Practical joker Henry Russell (High Griffith) dies and leaves inheritances...with conditions.  The four relatives each have their own individual tasks to perform to "win" their inheritance.

Alastair Sim is wonderful in his role and all leads do a commendable job in this film.

Very much enjoyed the ending.

Recommended.
