MOTHER is simply a wonderful film. I've probably watched this comedy at least half a dozen times since it was released in 1996. It stars Albert Brooks and Debbie Reynolds. I think it's one of Brook's best works.
John Henderson (Brooks) is a neurotic, self-obsessed writer whose relationships with women have been less than desired. Opening scene is in a divorce lawyer's office. Subsequently Henderson concludes that he must go back to the beginning and move back in with his mother to get to the bottom of his problems with women. So the journey begins...
Well worth a view.
