Very much enjoyed the 1950 noir EDGE OF DOOM starring Dana Andrews and Farley Granger, both of whom, give excellent performances.
Set in a New York slum the degraded existence is palpable.
Andrews is a very understanding and compassionate priest and Granger is the young sinner, unhinged by the death of his mother.
Keaney gave it a 2.5 and I would agree that it's a 2.5-3.0.
Definitely worth a view.
