Two Excellent Films

I tend to be very leery of religion-themed films because some are extremely inaccurate and/or the acting and production values are hokey. And, I don't much care for "costumers".
In contradistinction to the usual (and on my wife's strong recommendation), I viewed THE YOUNG MESSIAH and RISEN.
I very much enjoyed both and highly recommend them.
THE YOUNG MESSIAH is a film about Jesus as a young boy of seven as his family leaves Egypt to return home to Nazareth.
RISEN starts from Jesus's death on the cross, through the resurrection and his re-appearance, told from the viewpoint of a Centurion.
Lastly, Happy Resurrection Sunday to all!
