La Spina began her career in 1919 in the short-lived Thrill Book and went on to contribute regularly to Weird Tales and other pulps.  One of her novels serialized in WT, Invaders from the Dark, was later reprinted by Arkham House.   Long neglected and rarely anthologized, her weird works would make a prime MEGAPACK.
