Off Topic: New Series on TV
Haven't viewed any classic films in a while due to all the great (IMHO) content now on TV:
1) The Voice (love this program but for some reason my kids do not--go figure). There are some really talented young folks out there and the four judges (Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton) are very funny and insightful.
2) APB (about a billionaire who takes over a failing NY precinct combining advanced technology with boots-on-the street cop savvy).
3) 24: Legacy. Absolutely loved the original series with Kiefer Sutherland. Was leery about this one, but it's turned out worthwhile.
4) Blacklist. Continuation of the series in a new season.
5) Blindspot. Continuation of the series in a new season.
6) Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda (reviews cases from when he was a homicide detective).
7) Murder Chose Me (similar to #6 and I prefer the above so this one may be dropped).
Taken. Too early to tell.
9) Planet Earth II. Great photography but only saw a few minutes thus far.
10) The Blacklist: Redemption. Knockoff of the original Blacklist and this too may be dropped. I only watch so much TV.
Anyone watch any of these or have others to add to the list?

Don't know why there is a smiley face instead of in the above list.

Re: Off Topic: New Series on TV
I think my taste for TV shows these days is way out of step with my demographic group ... I'm still watching and liking the Flash, Supergirl, Timeless and Switched at Birth. OK, I also like Blindspot ... but I gave up on Quantico after the millionth plot twist (I can't stand it when heroes turn out to be sleeper agent villains before every commercial break !). My favorite TV shows come and go so quickly these days, eg. Limitless, Forever, Legends, Persons of Interest, White Collar, Dollhouse, Firefly .... Second Chance didn't even get much of a first chance.
ps. I still occasionally google "Fringe" and "Veronica Mars" to see if their fan bases have stirred up any interest for a revival or reboot ... but the only new news is usually "April the 1st" stuff.
pps. I did watch HBO's Westworld but I got caught up with listening to hours of internet podcasts about artificial intelligence and the emergence of consciousness and how Westworld really isn't like the best computer games (where a player's actions have "consequences" whereas Westworld (Human) guests could do whatever they liked to the (Robot) Hosts without any apparent consequences). Unfortunately these podcasts would also make guesses/predictions about how certain storylines should develop. Sort of spoiled the "big reveals" for me.
