Joseph Payne Brennan

I recently discovered the weird fiction of Joseph Payne Brennan (1918-1990)---and am very impressed.  Tales like "Canavan's Backyard," "Slime," and the "The Hunt," with their deftly evoked sense of dread and spare, elegant prose, are the sort that stay with you and percolate into your nightmares.  I guess Brennan's work is mostly or entirely under copyright, which might make a Megapack difficult, but he's certainly worth considering.  As far as I know, there's not been a Brennan collection in years.  He also wrote an extensive series featuring his own supernatural detective, Lucius Leffing---but I've read none of these yet.
